McAndrew’s Store Headlines
Winter Warmer
We are now in our third week of this blast of icy winter weather here in Belleek. Much of Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe are also shivering. It's just of well we have ample stocks of turf and Bord na Mona briquettes ready to send to folk looking for a warm fire with an Irish twist!
Happy 2010
Happy new year from all here at McAndrew's Store. We are back from the welcome break over the festive season and raring to go!
Summers Here
Just back from a day out with my two boys which was spent on Magheroarty Beach in the north west of County Donegal. Despite it being the middle of the tourist season there was still loads of room on this fantastic beach to let the boys cut loose. Our time was well spent splashing in the Atlantic Ocean, building sand castles and tumbling down the dunes. At the end of the day both boys were tired out and had fallen under the spell of Magheroarty Beach. The day out also inspired some creative thoughts for mcandrewstore.com and a new product will be coming very soon!
Keeping Warm on the Cold Front
Winter 2008-09 has been widely acknowledged as one of the coldest in recent years. Pro-longed spells of freezing temperatures coupled with heavy snow falls were the norm for Ireland and the UK. Here at McAndrew's Store we saw a huge increase in folks buying Bord na Mona Peat Briquettes and Turf from us. The result was we were left with a large quanity of empty turf sacks here at McAndrew's Store, but we put them to good use and went sledging!
Your Thoughts Please!
This year, 2009, we are taking stock. After four years in business we are taking a close look at our product offering and associated customer care issues. We would be delighted to hear from you whether you are a loyal customer or just a once off visitor to our website with any comments and suggestions as to how we could make McAndrew's Store even better. We are all ears!
